The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency said it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area daily. The service point designed for intervention activities a significant inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tricky with the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to empower the servicing of all shoppers and sassa status enhance entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
